The Galileo7 were already tasty but their brand of shed-you-store-your-car-in pop has kicked up a notch. Clattering drums, bundling bass, Mysteron organ, and a sound mixed in the middle of the room to make it utterly in your face: handsome. Singer Allan Crockford, who I am contractually obliged to say was in The Prisoners, handles his part with aplomb, and both sides are aflame with energy. Oh, my copy jumps on the B-side. But that’s what records are like, innit.
