Sounds Incarcerated: the noise made when two married musicians are unable to record or perform with their regular band… The nightmare continues! Or maybe we’re getting through it. Either way, we carried on doing cover versions for Mister Unswitchable’s theme nights throughout 2021. Was the general tone of the covers we chose a little more downbeat? Maybe. But in our view, this collection equals or surpasses the first volume. Featuring versions of songs from such luminaries as Jethro Tull, The Primitives, The Bee Gees, Slade, Pink Floyd, and The Monkees, and also lesser-known artistes like The Offspring and Polly Niles. All hand-crafted at home using time-honed ancient artisanal techniques and designed to stave off the stir-craziness that we all felt from time to time.
